Computer 101
Learn basic in home computer operation (PC not Apple).
Learn: Basic computer commands, open, copy, locate & organizing files on disks, CDs, DVDs, flash drives & hard drives. Delete unwanted files and clutter, password securing your private information and computer, basic word processing, simple spread sheet formulary, photo editing and resizing. Basic parts of your computer, upgrading hardware, virus protection, computer terms such as KB, MB, GB, TB, Ghz, ram, pixels, POP 3 & USB.
You will: navigate the internet, open a free email account, send a photo, receive a photo, avoid phishing emails, copy public domain pictures and articles & read the news from Denmark. Learn about P2Ps, pings, IPs, TLDs & free declassified FBI files. Access (all free) dictionaries, encyclopedias, research medical diagnosis & medication information. Also learn a little about advanced secure deleting (United States Government Standards for shredding computer files and deleting data). We can even dive into your Windows Process Manager and see what is slowing down you computer!
Course price: 250.00 5 each, 2 hour private lessons, 10 hours total program.
